Final Workshop on the Oceania Sustainability Reporting Alliance held

The Centre for Public Agency Sustainability Reporting™ recently held its closing workshop for the 2007 Australia and New Zealand Sustainability Reporting Alliance.

Held on 11-12 October, 2007, the workshop was kindly hosted by the Victoria Environmental Protection Agency, at their offices in Melbourne (Australia).

The workshop was built around member presentations about sustainability reporting experiences, challenges and results over the last year.  Member presentations were informative and encouraging, and the Centre is proud to be associated with the development of sustainability reporting with a group of public agencies prepared to take a leadership role.

Presentations made by the Centre provided some final challenges for members for the year, questioning and providing prompts for the leveraging of sustainability reports, and considering the relationships between supply chain management and sustainability reporting.

The workshop was a culmination of a series of learning workshops over the year, where members have had the opportunity to learn and discuss a broad range of aspects of sustainability reporting.

The Centre for Public Agency Sustainability Reporting™ is a collaboration of the Global Reporting Initiative, ICLEI, the city of Melbourne, and the State Government of  Victoria.  For more information, please go to www.iclei.org/oceania.
