World Mayors and Local Governments Climate Protection Agreement
The World Mayors and Local Governments Climate Protection Agreement is a declaration by Mayors and other elected leaders from local governments around the world.

The Agreement was launched at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Bali, Indonesia, on 12 December 2007 by by ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability, the World Mayors Council on Climate Change (WMCCC), United Cities and Local Government and the C40 Climate Leadership Group.

The Agreement advocates a number of actions, one of which is the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 60% from 1990 levels worldwide and by 80% from 1990 levels in industrialized countries by 2050.
